2 fer 1

I love making cards using different kinds of folds and these easel type cards just make me happy! Today I am participating in 2 challenges - One Stop Craft Challenge (easel) and Saturday Challenge (1 IMAGE, 2 DESIGN PAPERS, 3 FLOWERS, 4 BRADS, 5 GEMS OR PEARLS).
For my easel card I used more of that beautiful, however discontinued Greenhouse Gala dsp from Stampin' Up! I also played with the Bird Builder punch, Triple Blossom Flower and Round Tab Punch. I think I was punch happy! LOL The sentiment is from Hodgepodge Happiness. Enjoy!

TTT51 - For the Kids

My creation today is for the Top Tip Tuesday Challenge #51 which is make a card for the kiddoe. Well, it could be for a small child up to a teenager. So I made mine fit the teen category. At least that's my story and I'm sticking to it! :O)
The "windmill" as I call it, was created using scraps of discontinued Stampin" Up! dsp.  The sentiment is a stamp from the Stampin' Up! set - Up, Up and Away which also has some hot air balloons in it. I used a torquoise cs cause I wanted to add another color to the scheme of things. The rhinestones and the brad are also Stampin' Up! products.
Hope you enjoyed viewing my card for the TTTC#51. Why don't you play along too!

Don't forget to checkout my OFFER. I only have a couple of spots left.

Poinsettia Christmas -- CCC42

I know you are probably wondering why I used a torquoise cs. But what is very hard to see is that in the Stampin' Up! dsp is a few tiny stripes of what looks to me like torquoise. The poinsetties were all created using the Blossom Petals Builder Punch. They were spritzed with the Champagne Shimmer Mist. The large flower in the middle has some SU Pearls. The smaller one in the upper left hand corner has a SU Filligree Brad at it's center and the one on the bottom right has simply a silver brad. The SU ribbon is dotted grosgrain in Real Red. The little reindeer charm is from an old bracelet. He works perfectly for a Chirstmas card.

This card was created for the Christmas Card Challenge #42. Peggy Toole presented us with a sketch challenge this week. Hope you'll go and join the fun.

Thanks for looking.

PCPCUTTLEBUG-ERS #125

Hey,
I know I forgot to post a challenge last week. But I was pooped when I returned from my friend's retreat. So I slept a lot and wasn't too crafty once I got home. If you'd like to see how busy I was while I was at retreat you can follow this link (HERE).

On to the challenge this week. Well, who says these challenges have to be cards???
Nobody, that's who! LOL
This week your challenge is to make it 3-D. Below is a picture of just a few of the 3-D projects I demo-ed at retreat. I hope these will inspire you to get crafty!

No, your project does not have to be Christmas themed. At least it's not a requirement for the challenge. But if Christmas makes you happy, go right ahead. :O)
All of my projects were created using Stampin' Up! products. The cones were all created using the Petal Cone die (current) and the Oh Christmas Tree PopUp (retired).

If you'd like to play along follow this link (PCPC 125).
When you post your projects please use tags: pcpcuttlebug, pcpcuttlebug125, 3-D

Yall have fun! I am sooo excited about this challenge. I can not wait to see yall's projects! :O)

TSTC77 - Plain

For this week's Twisted Sketch and for the "TWIST" you'll have to pop on over to the Twisted site to see them.
So I got right down to it and when I completed my first card I realized I had used the same stamp set as the previous challenge. So I then went to work on another card. You will see below.

The card on the right was my first creation. When all was said and done I really liked the way it turned out. But then my blunder occurred to me when I proceeded to post it to my blog. So I went back to my stampin station and created the card you see on the left. Either way, I am happy!

Hope you'll join us for TWISTED SKETCHES TWISTED CARDS Challenge #77. If you play along please link your post not your blog address. Thanks. Be sure to check out the rest of the DT's creations.

Brayered FYI - Thanks Peggy Toole

Thanks to Peggy Toole I played along in the For Your Inspiration Challenge today.
Here's the inspiration piece....
And here's my take....
Hope you like it!

On another note...
I CASE-D my Friend Laurel's creation here. Laurel actually decorated her project.

I left mine simple. I used a sheet of the NEW SU DSP Mocha Morning Specialty #122366. These were called TeePees but I like them as simple table top decore or as Christmas Trees.

It was a crafty-ness packed, fun filled weekend and I totally had the best time. I hung with my gals and we just played until we couldn't hold our eyes open anymore. Then we'd go to bed and sleep. Get up in the morning and start all over again. Thanks to Deb Segler for she was the genius behind it all. Thanks to my gal pals; Ann, Lorna, Nancy and Tamara for all the laughs and creativity and love! Can't wait till we can all get together and do it again!
Special Thanks to Rita Barnhardt at Priceless Memories in Wylie, TX for her hospitality and her delicious cooking.

Lily Pad KLPPC

Lily Pad - Kathy's Lily Pad Palette Color Challenge - I stamped my image in Versa Mark and heat embossed with Black powder. Then I colored her with my metalic watercolors and my Blender pen. On her face, the flower and her dress I applied Crystal Effects. I am so pleased with the way she turned out. Hope you enjoy looking.
